Indian Hills Boundary Issue Resolved!

Good News from the Latest Key Communiqué

Indian Hills Will Revert to Original Boundaries!

The Jefferson County Board of Education voted to implement the original boundaries (and middle school and high school matriculation) that were in place prior to 2010-11 for Indian Hills students. The new policy will take affect in 2011-12, and will require Indian Hills students to matriculate to West Jefferson Middle School and Conifer High School. In addition, families in the Indian Hills area wishing to attend Evergreen Middle School and Evergreen High School may continue to exercise their right to the choice enrollment process and will be responsible for their own transportation in accordance with district policy.

The district will save $45,000 annually by reverting back to the prior boundary policy.
